City Coach Covid-19 Protocols
Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Vacaville City Coach has implemented a set of protocols for traveling on City Coach buses.
These protocols have been established to ensure compliance with the guidance set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and California Department of Public Health.

Cleaning and Sanitizing
City Coach has enhanced its cleaning protocol to include daily disinfecting of all surfaces as well as fogging with a disinfectant several times per week.

Increased Ventilation
City Coach has increased ventilation and air quality by using a high grade air filter and by opening windows on the bus when possible. We have asked passengers not to close windows unless it presents a health risk.

Face Covering Requirement
City Coach has made it mandatory for all passengers to wear a face covering when waiting for and riding a City Coach bus.

Fare Suspension/Rear Boarding
In an effort to keep passengers and operators at a safe distance from each other, City Coach has suspended Fare Collection and requries to boards passengers through rear door

Social/Physical Distancing
City Coach has made it mandatory for all passengers to stand 6 feet apart when waiting for and riding a City Coach bus.

Polycarbonate Barrier for Operators
As an added level of security for the passengers and operators, we have installed polycarbonate barriers around the operator’s area.

Postings at Bus Shelters and Transit Hubs
City Coach has posted reminders for passengers to wear a mask, wash their hands, cover their cough, and social distance. These posters will be placed at both Vacaville transit hubs as well as several bus shelters throughout the City of Vacaville.
